A couple months back, I’m attending one of Lancôme event at Pondok Indah Mall with Beauty Journal. In this event we are getting known the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation as well as having fun playing games to getting know other Lancôme star products.
A couple months passed and they sent me their full sized foundation for me to review! I really take my time reviewing the product because I really want to objectively reviewing this particular foundie. This foundation from Lancôme has been my go to base makeup for a while. Started as a review project, I came to love the product more than my previous foundie. Why? Here is my reason.
I have a dry skin, that’s why it’s not easy to find makeups that flaunt my skin tone with good finish. Mostly the foundie would leave some white excess from my dry skin. But not with Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation, it gives a flawless somewhat glowing finish on my skin. It has light texture and is also buildable for more high coverage makeup.
It feels like my skin, but better.
Another thing that I don’t really like from putting on makeup is seeing like I’m putting on too much. I hate it when my foundie looks somewhat cakey and not blending well with my skin. Thankfully, this Lancôme product is perfect for me and my skin. Available in 30 types of shades, you would find your shades from their wide range of foundation shades here. It’s perfectly my skin tone, cover my skin imperfectness but still looks natural for daily basis. It doesn’t crack but rather gives dewier look toward the day. So it so suitable for someone with dry skin likes mine.
Great packaging and easy to use
I love how their simple yet sophisticated packaging! The bottles are rectangular so it’s easy to put down or saved, and the easy to get the product through the pump. Two pumps are enough for medium coverage.
The only cons that I have are they sent me foundation shades 1 number below my requested shades so it’s a little darker than my actual preference shades. Like it’s still captured my skin tone, but I like my foundie to have a little lighter shades than my actual skin. So for lighter color, I like to mix the foundation with some lighter shades foundation that I already had.
Other than the shades I have, I love this product so much. I could really see myself investing more in makeup through good foundation like this one. If you’re interested in read more info, you could check out Lancôme through this link and more beauty tips from Beauty Journal here!
That’s all for this review. If you already trying this particular product, tell me more on the comments!
