I Chopped My Hair and I Loved it !

Hi loves! Probably one of the major changes that you see this year are my hair. It used to be longer because for more than 3 years, I had long hair. But did you know that I don’t always had a long hair ?

So, when I was younger, my hair is always short. It always been a thing for my mom to keep my hairstyle short for some reasonable reason. Like I’m kinda a sweaty kids, like many kids are. But hair that are longer than my neck (reach my back and all) would make me uncomfortable because how itchy it is. I also have a lot of hair, so shorter hair are a no-brainer to keep things manageable. Fast forward to the last year of high school, where my hair still relatively in the same length in like forever. That particular year, I kinda forgot, but my mom is pretty busy with a lot of stuff. I was busy too as a senior high schooler with exam and stuff. Because of this, I just doesn’t pay attention to how longer my hair become. If I do notices this, maybe I just doesn’t have the time. That’s phase leave me with awkward length of hair, where’s it’s definitely not short but not long either. My mom seeing this, suggested me to let my hair grow longer for a change. That’s why after that I have long hair till the end of 2019.

At the beginning of 2019, I heard about this foundation called The Little Princess Trust, they providing free real hairwigs for children that are cancer survivors. This real hairwigs are made with hair donation from people across the globe. Probably I will talk about them on another post so you could have more idea about this, but knowing this, I instantly makes this one of my cause to fulfill in 2019.

So on December 2019, I chopped my hair and send it away to reach the Trust. I got 30 centimeters of hair that hopefully will be able to make a full wig for one of the children ❤️.

2019 vs 2020

Not only this very small gesture fill my heart with love, but it’s also a mild reminder to always stay grateful.

Anyway, since my hair is back to short length, I have been adventurously trying many style of clothing. And it’s been a lot of fun to see how much a hairstyles can change the personas you’re bringing.

Till another post guys.

Cheers,

Elvina Samantha
